13. How will winning projects be selected?

Two main steps will determine the selection of winning projects:

• The number of “Cheers” a community project receives
• A Molson Coors staff evaluation

During the community cheer process, members of a project community can vote, like and upload photos to their favourite project submitted to OurCommunityCheer.com.

Projects that have received the minimum 225 “Cheers” (and sometimes a staff-voted "wild card") will then be evaluated by the Molson Coors Canada team.

The Molson Coors Canada evaluation team will evaluate community projects based on four key criteria:

• The amount of community cheer and support
• The ability to meet the application criteria
• The project’s alignment with Molson Coors values
• The positive social impact on the community and the ability to demonstrate success

There will be a series of questions regarding your project activity, your budget, your experience in managing a project like this, how your project will impact the world around you, as well as measurements and milestones you will use to determine success.

14. What community ideas qualify?
We are looking for ideas that promote physical activity and have a positive impact in the community. Ideas should be feasible and completed 12 months from the date you receive the first funds. Ideas must have impact within Canada.
